Modern contrasted serif with swash
Mewah is a modern serif in cream on red silk: very high contrast, fine hairlines, a tall narrow waist, and an italic-flavoured swash that lifts off the first letter and curls over the word, so the plate reads as a fashion masthead rather than a book face.
