Foundry portfolio · Decorative · Slab Serif
Pukka De moves between a soft monogram-style face and a wooden slab. Amora is warm and rounded, Oakleigh is heavy and structural, and the two releases serve gifts and signage.
Before you buy from this studio
Wooden slabs are cut large. Check the counters at sign size and keep the rounded face for smaller pieces.
Narrow upright capitals with heart-filled counters and heart terminals
Amora is a narrow upright display in which the counters of O and the terminals of A and R are drawn as hearts, the stems stay slim and the letters stand tall, so a short word reads as affectionate lettering rather than plain capitals.
Ideas for this font
Rounded heavy slab-ended hand lettering
Oakleigh is a rounded heavy slab lettering in coral pink with a mauve offset: fat letters with thick slab ends and fully rounded corners, a mixed case set and a soft shadow that sits behind the whole word.
